Quote from The Curious Inceident of the Dog in the Night-Time

"Christopher was walking down a the block when he spot a dog laying down in lawn at 7 minuet pass midnight. There was a garden fork sticking out of the dog. The point of the fork must have gone all the way through the dog and into the ground because the fork had not fallen over." This can be a universal theme because it can be about animal cruelty. Many people in the world have done animal cruelty and abuse them.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time(Prediction)

What i predict is going to happen is Christopher the main character is going to try to find out who killed the dog. But he will have trouble convincing his dad to agree with him that he should try and find out who killed the dog. Christopher can also get in trouble for trying to do it.

Connetions

A quote in Life of Pi is "I saw a triangle slicing the water fifteen feet away. It was a shark's fin. An awful tingle, cold and liquid, went up and down my spine." A quote in my independent reading book is "I do not like people shouting at me. It makes me scared that they are going to hit me or touch me and I do not know what is going to happen." The connection is that they both have fear. And that they know something bad can happen, or they will get hurt.

Highlights and Lowlights

My highlights and lowlights for my reading this year is mostly highlights because I got into the books that i chooses really fast. Most of them were all interesting and fun to read. My lowlights for me in this school year is at a time it was hard for me to find an interesting book to read. I was going through ten books until i found a book that i think was interesting. My lowlights is also having to read through the first chapter or reading the back of the book to know that the book was interesting or not. I didn't have that much troubles reading the book i choose so that would be a highlight for me. And that is my highlight and lowlight for this year reading so far.

Highlights and Lowlights

My lowlight on "Ark Angles" is the beginning. It started kind of slow and that made it hard for me to get what was going on. Also some part didn't make that much sense to me and I had to read it over many times to get it, and that made it boring because I want to get on with the book instead of reading the same thing over and over again just to get what it means. My highlights on "Ark Angles" is how it suck me into the story. It made me stuck on it and wanting to finish the book from beginning to end. Also because of the excitement and actions. It also kept me wondering what is going to happen next, and what is the surprise going to be.
